User Data Deletion Instructions

Detailed instructions explaining how users can disconnect Meta / Instagram / WhatsApp integrations and permanently purge their account data from GRIDDY AI.

1. Overview & Data Privacy Commitment

In accordance with Meta Platform Terms, GDPR guidelines, and our Privacy Policy, GRIDDY AI guarantees users full authority over their personal and commercial data. You can instantly revoke third-party social integrations self-service, or submit a formal request for permanent, irreversible purging of your entire workspace.

2. Instant Self-Service Integration Disconnection

A) Disconnecting Instagram & Deleting Stored Tokens:

  1. Log in to your GRIDDY AI account at griddy-ai.com/sign-in.
  2. Navigate to Social Accounts (or Settings).
  3. Click "Disconnect" next to the connected Instagram account.
  4. All encrypted OAuth access tokens are immediately purged from our database, and any pending scheduled jobs for that account are cancelled.

B) Unlinking WhatsApp Assistant & Phone Numbers:

  1. Go to Settings → WhatsApp Assistant.
  2. Click "Unlink WhatsApp".
  3. Alternatively, you may send the message STOP or توقف directly to the WhatsApp Assistant phone number.
  4. The phone number link is permanently revoked, and all active conversational session states are cleared.

C) Removing App Permissions via Meta / Facebook Settings:

You can also revoke GRIDDY AI application permissions directly through Meta settings:

  1. Open your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
  2. Go to Settings & Privacy → Permissions → Apps and Websites.
  3. Locate GRIDDY AI and click Remove.

3. Permanent Account & Data Purge Request

To request permanent and complete deletion of your user profile, workspaces, brand assets, generated images, and publishing history, follow this official procedure:

Step-by-Step Deletion Request Process:

  1. Send an email from your registered GRIDDY AI account email address to: privacy@griddy-ai.com (or support@griddy-ai.com).
  2. Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request - [Your Registered Email]
  3. Include your workspace name/slug to facilitate verification.
  4. To protect your business assets from unauthorized destruction, our team will verify account ownership prior to executing permanent deletion.

4. Scope of Data Permanently Deleted

Upon verification and completion of the deletion request, the following records are permanently erased:

  • User identity records, authentication credentials, and session tokens.
  • Workspace records, brand profiles, and Brand Brain memory.
  • Uploaded brand logos, product photos, and source media assets from storage.
  • Campaign drafts, Autopilot plans, and scheduled publishing queue items.
  • Encrypted OAuth access tokens and WhatsApp phone linkage records.
  • Notification delivery logs and user-specific configuration preferences.

5. Written Confirmation & Support

Once the permanent deletion process is complete, our team will send a confirmation email certifying that all data has been permanently expunged from all GRIDDY AI production systems.
